Found this a few weeks ago at the movie prop place in Slidell, LA.
Any ideas on the year? I am thinking somewhere around ‘59.
The place is amazing. Outside is basically a car lot/graveyard of old movie prop vehicles. Everytime we go there seems to be something different.

That’s pretty neat. I never knew there was a movie prop place in Slidell. I live in New Orleans so I may have to make the trip over there one day and check it out.

Yep! It’s called Moviesets. It is right off of I-59, to the left if you are coming from New Orleans. Take the Old Spanish Trail exit or you’ll miss it. Pretty awesome place. They have a bunch of old set cars in the lot, an OG Mini, several Citroens in various states of disrepair (including an amulance on a big concrete pedestal), and other odd things. Definitely should check it out just for the unique collection of vehicles.

Citroens you say? I wonder if they ever sell any of their props....are most just rolling chassis, or are many of them driveable? :)

Indeed. They have a few DS’s, an SM (I think, may not be there anymore though), an H Van, and maybe some others. The van and the DS ambulance may run, but the other DS’s are in pretty bad shape unfortunately. You maybe could get enough parts off the 2 or 3 they have to make 1 working one. I think for the right price maybe the company would sell, but as they were used in movies/tv shows I dunno how hard they would be to register. I think I have some pictures on my old phone or computer, so I will check when I get a chance.
